PEH - Physical & Emotional Harmony - I have quite a few followers of this type of massage! They say the face and ears are incredibly relaxing! Relieves pain, fear, and worry, and induces deep relaxation & helps normalize the body & mind. Helps you feel balanced. Not your typical massage. Each session unfolds as I listen to the body/mind/spirit. A session will include gentle and relaxing, but powerful light-touch holds. It usually takes a few minutes for the heat to release and the tissue to soften. It may include rocking, vibration, shaking of the arms, and sweeping movements over the body to help release stuck energy. Sound may be used to help release stuck energy and to help you relax. It will include some gentle massage and reflexology. Reflexology may include ears, hands and/or feet. Facial massage is usually included that is incredibly relaxing. You may choose to remain clothed, but in a session, unclothed, you will receive the care of appropriately draped sheets and oil or lotion. Both clothed and unclothed sessions have essential oils/aromatherapy as an option.
Facial AcuZone Reflexology - FAZR - A new form of reflexology that is a combination of acupressure on Chinese meridian points, Marma points, muscle massage and lymph drainage, all targeted on the head and neck and mapped using longitudinal zones and transverse landmark lines. 15 - 30 minutes of foot or hand reflexology or massage can be added on to this 4o minute session. Incredibly relaxing, and reduces stress, it is great for headaches, migraines, sinus issues, and may help the organs closest to the points being worked, such as the eyes, ears and brain. Clients LOVE it!
Pregnancy massage - for the pregnant woman, who has special aches and stresses from carrying the growing dear one, changing her center of gravity, stressing the feet, legs, and hips as they soften and expand. The shoulders, back and neck also get tight and painful from the changes taking place. Relaxing is so important to help quality of life during the 9 months and to preparing for the birth. I prefer not to use a prego pillow that has the client in a face-down, prone position. Even though this keeps intrauterine pressure from building, it stresses the sacrouterine ligaments. The ligaments holding the uterus in place are already overstressed and stretched and dangling the increasingly growing uterus can strain these ligaments. Side-lying position is most often used for working the back, arms and legs and pillows galore for side lying and supine positions. It is actually a great position for getting at the neck, back and hip muscles. Reclining or supine work is kept to a minimum after the first 13 weeks or so, to avoid pressure of the weighty uterus on the right side of the vertebral bodies, where the vena cava lies, though a small wedge pillow or towel can be placed under the right lower torso to take weight off that side. The inferior vena cava is the major vessel of blood return from the lower extremities.
Acupressure massage - NEW! Acupressure points are places on the skin that conduct bioelectrical impulses in the body. When stimulated with pressure in acupressure massage, endorphins are released. As a result, pain is relieved in affected areas. Increased circulation of chi (life force energy) and blood causes muscles to relax and promotes healing. Tension tends to accumulate around acupressure points. When blood, oxygen and bioelectric energy circulate properly, we have a greater sense of harmony, health and well-being. Acupressure techniques are intended to correct imbalances, working toward regulation and harmony of all systems of the body.
I take Credit card, checks or cash.

I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give me 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment.
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
I understand emergencies and do not charge for true emergencies. I look forward to serving you!
